HYBRID TYPE ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR

As a result of studying research for a several years, Bo-Yang Mechanical Engineering Co, LTD. develops with 100% domestic technique this device for removal of dust such as ash from the combustion gas at high temperature and pressure.  
Our system supplies to two stages for dust collect completely, one stage is developed HTEP (hybrid type electrostatic precipitator) for most dust, and other stage is multi-cyclone for rapping dust .

1. It is tube type and 100% domestic technique throughout studying research for a several years that we have hardly attainment of a proposed object.  Because of tube type, our HTEP requires less space than plate type ESP of the same gas volume.
2. The raw gas passes through the distribution internals, which are located in the inlet duct, enter the active collection area. One of advantages of the HTEP is that the particles in the raw gas are migrated under the influence of centrifugal force, which generated from screw, diamond type, star shape discharge electrode, as well as a strong electrical field.
3. Also the dust particles go to collecting electrode wall through corona discharge region repeatedly. Eventually the dust including submicron particles are collected on cylindrical electrode more effectively.
4. The dust layer accumulated on collection electrode is periodically removed by rapping hammer and fall into the hoppers

  As the above-mentioned characteristic result, following advantages are supplied to the customers.

ELECTRO-CYCLONE

As a result of studying research for a several years, Bo-Yang Mechanical Engineering Co, LTD. develops with 100% domestic technique this device for removal of such as ash from the combustion gas at high temperature and pressure.  
Our system supplies to two stages for dust collect completely, one stage is general multi-cyclone for larger dust, and other stage is developed electrocyclone for smaller dust.

  Principle
1. The electrocyclone is an adaptation of a conventional cyclone in which a high voltage, inside the cyclone.  
2. The raw gas passes through the distribution internals, which are located in the inlet duct, enter the centrifugal collection area.  Also, The electrocyclone incorporates a clean air shield adjacent to the exhaust duct, which prevents short-circuiting of dust into the outlet.
3. The clean air is provided by an axial flow separator / electrostatic charger device positioned in the exhaust duct of an upstream cyclone.  This axial flow component uses a high voltage corona electrode to charge the dust particles and improve the separation efficiency.  The swirling motion naturally present in the exhaust of a conventional reverse flow cyclone provides the vortex field in the axial flow component.
4. Within the electrocyclone the separation of dust is strongly augmented by another high-voltage field applied with an electrode along the axis of the cyclone.  Those electrodes are formatted as barbed electrode that is made from steel strips with welded on barbs whose length depends on the spacing and the gas to be treated.
5. The barbs charge the dust particles and provide an electric field, which augments the inertial forces driving particles to the cyclone wall.
6. The dust layer accumulated on the cyclone wall is periodically removed by rapping hammer and fall into the hoppers

 
The proven advantages
Large diameter unit can be built to give the same efficiency as a small conventional cyclone.  This would result in minimizing the pressure gradients at the dust exhaust.
  - In the large diameter unit relatively fewer units are needed to handle for required efficiency.
  - This means fewer hoppers and valves and etc. to remove the collected dust and thus, needed lower costs.
  - Because of lower pressure drop, lead to lower operating cost.
  - Dry type: no sludge removal problem

MULTI-CYCLONE

As a result of studying research for a several years, Bo-Yang Mechanical Engineering Co, LTD. develops with 100% domestic technique this device for removal of large size dust such as ash from the combustion boiler at high temperature and pressure and fly-ash from the cement mills foundries.

  Principle
 1. Identical cells are placed parallel above a hopper.
 2. At the inlet of each cell are fitted with internal vanes (or guide vanes) which impart a spinning motion to the dust laden gas.
 3. Therefore, centrifugal force drives the dust to the outside of the cell where it falls freely into the hopper, while the cleaned gas emerges from the cell via a central pipe.

EMULSIFIER

As a result of spent much fund and time studying research for a several years, Bo-Yang Mechanical Engineering Co., LTD. develops with 100% domestic technique this device for saves fuel and achieving complete combustion, by rising costs of bunker fuels.

Principle
1. Independent feeding of heavy oil and water passes the control of steady temperature by precise temperature inductor and control of steady volume by precise liquid surface controller.  After the selection of volume weight proportion being fixed, the pump will feed the mixture into a specially designed mixer with a fixed pressure.
2. When the fuel oil, mixed with water and oil, spread-out through nozzle, then it is injected into combustion chamber.  At this moment, the small water droplets (1~2 Micron) are dispersed in the large oil drops (20~100 Micron), and when these are heated in the combustion chamber, the fuel oil is converted into submicron according to transforming as micro explosion and the perfect atomization, because of the difference of the boiling point between water and heavy oil such as bunker C oil.
3. So fuel oil, mixed with water and oil, could be burned completely, the flame temperature becomes higher, the residual carbon and pollution are reduced.
4. As a this effect, the Ministry of Environment (1987.3.5) and the Korea Institute of Geo-sciences and Mineral Resources (1987.2.28) license our emulsifier to air pollution control device, also it has patented. (# 6392)

Principle
   : Provide contact between gas and liquid streams, and then the toxic gas and the particulate located in the laden gas are absorption or washing.  During operation, gas flow upward through a packed bed while scrubbing liquid flows down (by gravity) over the packing material.
