Components)
* Comparator Instrument
ㆍHigh quality instrument for Visually Matching the intensity of sample colour
with Lovibond Glass Filter.
ㆍAn adjustable Cell Compartment for samples in cells of upto 40 mm path length included.
ㆍIntegrated Prism which causes the sample and comparison fields to overlap, allowing
enhanced colour discrimination and matching.
ㆍFacility to compensate for water samples which are turbid or tinted.
* Lighting Unit
ㆍBy using a Lovibond lighting unit, it is possible to guarantee uniform lighting
conditions. for colour matching, 24 hours a day and irrespective of ambient
lighting.
ㆍDaylight 2000 Lighting Unit : a standardised bench-top light source which guarantees
constant and uniform lighting conditions.
ㆍPortable Lighting Unit : a constant light source powered by rechargeable batteries.
* Test Discs
ㆍA series of graded glass filters which have been pre-calibrated to give direct
test readings.
ㆍColoured glass filters are colour stable and not affected by UV light and
extreme environmental conditions.
ㆍFor the most popular tests, discs are available in a Lovibond Testpak.
ㆍIndividual test methods are supplied with the disc; “Lovibond Colorimetric
Chemical Analytical Methods”.

ㆍA range of precision fused and moduled cells and cylinders are supplied.
ㆍAll made from optical glass in a range of dimensions and path lengths.
ㆍTest discs require specific glassware for each test.
* Reagents
ㆍA comprehensive chemical reagents which develop the colour in the water sample.
ㆍAvailable in a convenient Tablet form to ensure accurate dosing.
ㆍThe majority of reagents are availbale in foil-wrapped strips for a long shelf-life.
